VSFB Positions:

Closing Cashier FT- 

The pay is $17.20 + Holiday Pay + Excellent Benefits!

This position is fulltime, closing shifts including weekends.

The Closing Cashier calculates and accepts payments at the Beachcomber and Breakers Dining Facility on VSFB. Other tasks include helping the team out by prepping food in the kitchen, restocking supplies and the to-go items. Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, serving, and dining room areas. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply. The dining facility operates 7 days a week. MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION. LOVARC has a drug-free workplace policy, and all job offers are contingent on the applicant passing a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Weekend Line Cook PT-

Weekend Line Cook position available at VSFB. Work 2-5 days/week. Make pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, omelets, etc. on the cafeteria line. Interact with customers; prepare, label and store food properly. Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks. LOVARC has a drug-free workplace policy and all job offers are contingent on the applicant passing a pre-employment drug screen. Must have your own transportation to worksite on base. Dining facility is open 7 days/ week.

Chef Manager FT-

We are hiring for an evening Chef Manager!

Hours are from 11:30am- 7:30pm, Starting pay is $23.00 + Great Benefits!

The Chef Manager requires experience as a lead cook and supervisor. Under the direction of the Contract Manager, the Chef Manager supervises staff and performs a wide variety of cooking tasks at the dining facility on Camp San Luis Obispo. Cook FT- 

Sunday and Monday mornings are mandatory! Starting pay is $20.00 + DOE, + GREAT BENEFITS after 90 days of being hired with us. - EXCELLENT WORK ENVIRONMENT! Under the direction of the Shift Manager and Contract Manager, the Line Cooks/ Server performs a wide variety of cooking tasks at the dining facility on Camp San Luis Obispo. Must be experienced in entree cooking, including following recipes, food preparation, have customer service skills. This facility serves 3 meals a day/ 7 days a week cafeteria-style environment to Military, GYA Students, Civilians, and Cal-Fire training groups. Food Service Host FT - PT

We are hiring for a Food Service Host! Closing shifts are 11:45am – 8:00pm including weekends and most Holidays. The Food Service Host greets customers as they enter the Dining Facility, cashiers, prepares some food items, and maintains the service and cleanliness of the dining areas to include sweeping and mopping daily. JFTB Positions: 

Dishwasher/ Utility Worker FT (JFTB)-

The Dishwasher/ Utility Worker performs a wide variety of tasks including washing dishes by hand and by machine, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, mopping floors and stocking cafeteria supplies. Under the direction of the Contract Manager, the Chef Manager manages staff and performs a wide variety of cooking tasks at the Dining facility on Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos. The facility serves 3 meals a day/ 7 days a week in a cafeteria style like environment to the high school academy students housed on the Base. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Benefits include insurance, paid holidays and paid vacation. La Paloma Group Home: 

 Caregiver PT- 

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, caring and will cover evening shifts from 2pm-9pm Mondays, Thursday, Fridays and some morning shifts Saturday and Sunday from 5am-9am. Starting pay is $16.75- $17.75 + DOE. We provide all training and CPR and First Aid Certifications. Screening includes reference checks, pre-employment physical, fingerprinting and a drug screen.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Respect and uphold resident rights and privacy

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
