Shift Supervisor- FT (VSFB) - We are hiring for a Kitchen Supervisor. Under the direction of the Contract Manager, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and operation of the Breakers/ Beachcombers dining facilities on VSFB during assigned shifts. Must be knowledgeable in food service professional and willing to enforce all industry guidelines. Shifts vary between the hours of 4am- 9:30pm any day of the week, open availability is preferred. 

  • Manager experience is preferred

  • Strong decision making and leadership skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Able to work independently

Line Cook FT (VSFB)- The Cook prepares and makes omelets, pizzas, sandwiches, burgers etc. on the cafeteria line infront of our customers or follows Space Force recipes to create entrees in the kitchen. Prepares, labels and stores food properly and performs cleaning and sanitizing tasks. Must have your own transportation to worksite on base. Dining facility is open 7 days/ week. Ability to creatively and effectively problem solve and manage projects, take on additional duties as needed. Plan, organize and monitor controls of food quality, presentation and service. Cooking and Managing experience is required. Computer skills is needed. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Contract Manager, The Morning Cook performs a wide variety of cooking tasks in a cafeteria style Dining Facility at Camp San Luis Obispo. We serve three meals a day breakfast, lunch and dinner to students, military, civilians and Cal Fire training groups.

 

Morning Host (CSLO) FT- Do you enjoy meeting new people everyday? Do you enjoy a fast paced and friendly work environment? Do you have great customer service skills? This position is perfect for you! We are hiring for a Morning Host Excellent benefits are provided you don't want to miss, hours are as early as 4:30am- 1:00pm. The Morning Host greets customers as they enter the Dining Facility. Other duties include cashiering, preparation of some food items, taking phone orders, and maintains the service and cleanliness of the dining areas at Camp San Luis Obispo Dining Facility.
